Which races can we choose from?
The Transalpine Run means the main stage race which is 8 days, 290 kilometers and 17.320 meters of altitude. For all beginners who want to cautiously approach the crossing of the Alps, there is also the RUN2, which is the first two stages of the main event.

What does a starting place cost?
A starting place for the TAR, including starter package, costs 990 Euro per person (1,980 EURO per team). The prices for the RUN2, including starter package, are 230 EURO (460 EURO per team).

What are the requirements for participation in TAR?
You must run in teams of two and each participant must be at least 18 years old. Participants should have alpine experience, a corresponding level of training, and a good sense of direction. How do I prepare for my particular desired distance?

What do I need to consider regarding the current Corona situation?
The legal and official regulations apply at the time of the event and will be . The applicable COVID-19-RULES will become an integral part of these regulations and the GTCs and announced no later than 14 days before the event. We reserve the right to hold the event under 2G rules in order not to endanger the entire event.
What happens if the TAR cannot be performed due to Covid or if I get sick with the virus myself?
Will my participation fee be refunded if I cannot participate after all (e.g. injury)?

Can I pass on my confirmation of participation to another person?

What insurance do I need for the run?
From years of experience, we highly recommend that you take out private insurance (e.g. entry fee, rescue costs, foreign repatriation, travel cancellation insurance) if you are NOT able to start. It is also recommended to take out an insurance with the mountain rescue.

How and where can I find accommodation?

I can’t find any accommodation in Nassereith, what should I do?
TIP: Book 2 nights in Imst! You need to book the shuttle Nassereith/Imst (from/to hotel and Pasta Plausch as well as shuttle to the start) if you don’t have your own support/driver with you.
